How do I get a quote for shipping my vehicle?

To get a quote for shipping your vehicle, you can either submit an online quote request below or call directly at (813)488-0970 to receive a personalized quote from our knowledgeable transport specialists. Providing the most accurate quote as possible is important to us. Please have the specific pick up and delivery destinations, the vehicle details (make, model, modifications), and the ideal dates for shipping available.

When should I schedule my shipment?

Ideally, as much notice as possible for your shipment is preferred. The further in advance you schedule your shipment, the better chance we have of successfully meeting your desired timeframe and cost. For best results, we recommend scheduling at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Expedited shipping is often possible and we would be happy to discuss the specific expectations regarding an expedited or last minute shipment

Do I have to be present at the time of pick up and delivery of my vehicle?

Yes, someone must be present at the time of pick up and delivery of the vehicle. However, this does not need to be you specifically. Any trusted person over the age of 18 can release or accept your vehicle on your behalf, provide keys to the driver, provide final payment, and sign the initial and final inspection reports.

Can I store personal belongings inside the vehicle during transportation?

The short answer is yes. The long answer is that the total weight of these personal items cannot be more than a hundred pounds, cannot be above the window line, and should not be beloved items or high price valuables as they are not covered under insurance if they are reported as damaged or missing.

Can I ship my vehicle if it doesn’t run?

Absolutely! When vehicles are inoperable, a specific type of carrier is required that utilizes a winch to connect to your vehicle and safely pull it onto the truck. There are additional fees for inoperable vehicles due to the specialized equipment and additional work involved with safely securing the vehicle on the transporter. In the event your transport is in non-running or inoperable condition, please let our transport specialist know prior to quoting or assigning your vehicle for transport so we can discuss the details and obtain an appropriate carrier.

Can I ship my vehicle if it is modified or oversized?

Of course! Because we work with a number of valued and experienced shippers across the nation, we are able to ship vehicles of any size. Similar to those that don’t run, oversized and modified vehicles require specific carriers and transporters to accommodate them. Please let our transportation specialists know the specific details prior to establishing a quote or assigning your vehicle for transport so we can discuss the details, any additional fees, and obtain an appropriate carrier for your transport.

Can I ship my vehicle if it has low ground clearance?

You sure can! Because we work with a number of valued and experienced shippers across the nation, we are able to ship vehicles with low ground clearance. Please be advised that any vehicle with clearance lower than 4 inches will require an enclosed trailer with a lift gate for transport. Because of this, additional fees may be involved in comparison to an open trailer transportation. Please let our transportation specialists know the specific clearance details prior to establishing a quote or assigning your vehicle for transport so we can determine the appropriate carrier requirements, discuss the details and any additional fees that may be associated.

How is my car shipping cost calculated?

Graham Family Auto Transport takes pride in having open and candid conversation regarding transport details and cost. When determining the cost of your transport, we take several factors into account to provide the most accurate quote possible. Items such as mileage between origin and destination, condition or specifications of the vehicle, timeline for transport, carrier type, and current route specific market values all undergo intensive review when providing an estimate for transport. Every quote we provide is carefully tailored to your vehicle and transport specifications.
